The Great Noximillian is looking for a new stage assistant for his magic show — could this be your big break? Prove yourself worthy for the job by solving Nox’s suite of puzzle challenges as you explore the curious Fremont neighborhood, and you might just learn a thing or two about the mysterious magician himself…
Our outdoor puzzle hunt brings the magic of an escape room to the streets of Fremont. This unique adventure takes you through the Fremont neighbourhood, where you’ll use iconic landmarks, attractions, and artistic installations to find clues and solve puzzles.
How does the game work?
A Locurio staff member will greet your team, explain the rules of the game, and give you a binder full of puzzle materials. Your team will then download the digital puzzle map on the ClueKeeper app.
The ClueKeeper app will send your team exploring the many iconic and artistic landmarks of Fremont. You’ll use the materials in your binder to solve location-based puzzles, search for clues, and solve mysteries to uncover the final answer. You’ll enter your answer guesses using the ClueKeeper app, which also provides hints and tracks your score.
Is this an escape room?
This is an outdoor escape game, puzzle hunt adventure! The ClueKeeper app will send you to different locations in the Fremont neighborhood (where Locurio is located) and your team will search for clues and solve puzzles at each location. Our puzzle hunt blends the thrill of an escape room with the exploration of Fremont’s vibrant streets. This game is also tied into the storyline of our first escape room, The Vanishing Act.
Where does the outdoor puzzle hunt take place?
The puzzles will take you all around the Fremont neighborhood! Discover this unique neighbourhood, or see it in a brand new light. The puzzles are location-based, so you’ll have to explore your environment to solve the puzzles!

This outdoor escape game puzzle hunt is perfect for team building, birthday parties, escape room enthusiasts, or anyone looking to get outside and solve a mystery while exploring a unique neighbourhood!

This outdoor puzzle hunt uses the ClueKeeper smartphone app. At least one player per team must download the ClueKeeper app in order to play!
Teams can be up to 5 players, and we can accommodate two teams at the same time due to having two separate routes (up to 10 players max). To book two teams, please contact us at info@locurio.com.
Please note that this experience takes place entirely outdoors, rain or shine. Due to the interactive and exploratory nature of this experience, it may only be booked during daylight hours. Though there is no time limit, average solve time is 2-2.5 hours.
